He has a bunch of parts that I was picking up.. some funky green metal and a deck lid for the oval.. Anyway it was my first chance tro see his new garage. Wow! Talk about a 2 car garage. Chris has a lot of VWs in there as well as a brand new lift. So as I’m looking at the mango kombi and his 56’ hardtop beetle I notice 1 of the 3 pick-ups he has. Not the green 57’, I was bugging him to sell it to me, but the original paint 66’ single cab. It looks pretty good. Great gates, minimal rust.. a little around the back apron, some seam surface rust and a little in the treasure chest, but otherwise pretty nice. It needs a motor rebuilt and rear bumper as well as new rear arches on both sides, but other than that it is close.
