Check out this little road trip I took last weekend with my kids. I went to a guy name Jack’s place to pick up a few giant bamboo plants for my house. Luckily my roof rack was large enough to accommodate to plants since they were pretty big, and pretty heavy. Anyway, we managed to load a few big one up on the roof and a few smaller ones inside on the back seat behind the kids. I guess I had around 200lbs on the roof. I had about a 30km drive to catch the ferry though town and onto the highway. You can see from the side view that the plants hung off about 6 feet from the back of my bus. Pretty funny. Against the law I’d bet, but we made it without any trouble. The new Bamboo is now planted and in about 15 years my yard will look like Jacks!
