So this car isn’t running. I’ve deduced it must be the electric fuel pump. This is highly annoying since the pump (and most of the car) is relatively new with less than 200 km driven since a complete rebuild. Anyway, typical British car BS. Today’s task is to pull the pump out and see what the problem is. The SU pump has a set of points on the back end that open and close driving the pump. It has been suggested that they may be stuck (again, highly annoying). Course after getting it open I realize this is a newer electronic version that doesn’t appear to have any traditional points. So now what?? A new $175 pump I guess. Did I mention I hate British cars?
